About LURC

The Latrobe University Rowing Club or Boat Club as it was then known, was officially formed in 1968 and it celebrated its 40th anniversary during the 2008/2009 rowing season.  For its entire history the club has provided an opportunity for all members of the community, Latrobe University students or not, to participate and compete in rowing.

With the outstanding support of its current and past committee members, we now have one of the best fleets of any club of our size.  Accordingly the club is now ideally placed to grow and expand its crews and hopefully succeed at the State and Intervarsity Championships
