New head Coach Appointed
At long last the LURC committee is please to announce that we have been able to appoint our long awaited Head Coach!
Stuart is originally a light weight Tassie rower and has been hanging round the sheds for the last few seasons. He comes to us from an extremely successful gig at Melbourne rowing club, taking his Masters women to many Gold medals at club and National level. He was the State Masters Women’s Eight coach this year.
Congratulations Stuart.
Stu will be overseeing all the rowing programs and has already reset the rigging to the women’s eight and quad and some oars.
Stu is the direct coach of the Senior men and women. Training times have been established as:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday at 6am. Further weekend sessions are currently being negotiated with those involved with the program.
